I love to draw.
It has been my favorite thing to do ever since I was a kid. These days I draw—and paint and print—to capture a sense of place, wherever that place may be. My mixed-media artwork uses the visual DNA of a location—local icons, landmarks, and landscapes—as a springboard for imagination. I want my colorful pieces to radiate the energy and soul of our hometowns and favorite spots.

My block prints of Alabama landmarks, which became hot collectibles for a time in Birmingham, have been featured on HGTV, in Readymade magazine, and on Alabama’s state tourism website.
Commissions and Illustrations: Challenge me! I enjoy tackling different kinds of subjects and images. My work has appeared in the popular Public Radio WBHM 90.3 pint glass series and on Vulture Whale’s debut album. I also have created custom mixed-media pieces for Alabama Public Television, wedding invitations, and birthday/anniversary gifts.
